Yep your quote was from me, and I agree with your assessment (and analogy to sand) of A.COM, "One World Tree" et el. One of the reasons I don't use them, ever, for my final DB.

The "shaky leaves" are called HINTS because that is what they are, don't use them for anything else. Even if the "hint" from other people's work is well documented, with source_citations I would still, if they had information I could use, look at the live source to make sure that the source was accurately documented and recorded. Someone could easily document the wrong person, fact or cite the wrong page, or location.

Yes it takes time. This is why my database is still less that 100,000 in size even though I have access to 300,000 or more names of people from my families communities. Each source needs to be evaluated and vetted, before the data goes into my database.
