Special Report -- Ancestors by generation in FTM ???

I want to publish a report from my children's perspective. I want to start with their grandparents, list each of them along with their timeline details and a story and photo if available and a "mini-tree" showing how those grandparents are related (via a parent). So the grandparent generation would be at most 1 page per grandparent, with all 4 grandparents listed and then the next pages of this report would be great-grandparents. Same kind of summary, about 1/2 page per person unless I have lots of photos or stories. That would be, of course, 8 people and then onto the great-great-grandparents with 16 people and so on as far back as I want to go. I know I could probably find a person report that would work, and then put all of the person reports in order in a book, but this is a lot of work. Do any of you who have used FTM reports extensively know of any other options? Their reports are SO limited. I'm using FTM 2014.
