Brynne,
I did consider other genealogy software, in fact I was very interested in going from a PC to the Apple. But, the thought of relearning and then trying to get all of my information into a new program was even too much to think about. So, I decided to keep a PC and also the same software. Is there a program that you can insert your data from FTM into by just loading it in? I know you can install Windows on the Apple, maybe that would have been a good way to go. So many decisions!
I'm still searching for my FTM 11. We did a big remodel and everything was packed away for awhile and some things have not resurfaced yet. That is one of them. My computer guy is coming over tomorrow night, so I had better find it or make a decision as to where to begin.
If I download a trial version of another program, will I be able to permanently get rid of it if I decide not to go with it?
