Thanks John! That was a very thorough and helpful response and it is very much appreciated.I will print it off for future reference. I would hesitate to purchase FTM 2008 given the bad reviews they have inspired. I am leaning toward either FTM 16 or going to Legacy Family Tree. If I procrastinate much longer, maybe FTM version 9 if it has good reviews.
Does anybody know how well Legacy Family Tree interfaces with Ancestry.com?
