FTM User ready to share tree

I'm using FTM 2009 and feel that I'm ready to put my tree out there. I currently belong to ancestry.com, but I'd like for my relatives, who do not belong, to be able to access my tree. What are the pros and cons of One World Tree, Public Member Trees, Private Member Trees and World Connect. Are there other recommended options? I like the idea of being able to make connections with distant cousins to grow each other's trees. I'm a little leary though of someone taking my hard work and and capitalizing on it. What methods are you all using and why? Also, other than privatizing living individuals, are there other items you only share with trusted contacts?

I just use the default upload method since I have no problems with sharing information...this is the best method for getting others to help you also. As for privatizing, I simply don't put anything into the FTM file that I am not willing to share (such as birth certificates/SSN for living people). This simplifies the upload process, and removes any worries that I may have that something may accidentally slip into an online version via a program bug.
