I am using Familytreemaker 2009, Version 18.0.0.307

I imported a GEDCOM into my tree - now that I am verifying the facts, one branch of the tree doesn't belong.

I do not want to restore the backup made before merging the file because since then I have worked on different branches that are okay.

I have detached the "root" person who doesn't belong in my tree so in effect I have two families in my one file.

Is there a quicker way I can delete these people without having to do them one by one?

You will probably not receive feedback from them, but the developers do read the feedback.
