The Ancestry Member Tree's (AMT) are FREE and "owned" by the person who created it. Free to See, with the appropriate permission, will show up in the Ancestry Search Engine, unless the owner turns that off.

IF there is information in an AMT, you can Contact, using the Ancestry email system, the owner and ASK if they are willing to share the information or even the tree.

Only the Owner of the tree can Download the AMT. BUT, then can send you a copy of that tree.

All of this is free.
