There seems to be a failure to conceptualize. If you want to keep information private and not share it don't put it on line.
Even if ancestry stopped all direct downloading someone could always use a feature like screen capture to save and print it to word or another program. Or simply go to split screen for data entry.
If you decide to put your data online you have made your sharing choice. End of story.
