Thank you! Let us also consider the fact that the tablets are numerous and widely available now. Most of them use Android 2.0 or 3.0, with future versions coming I am sure. There are more than 10 different kinds of tablets available now, with at least 7 of them using Andriod 2.0+.
A tablet, if you can afford one, is a great tool to have especially for someone such as myself that travels everywhere since research is a major part of what I do! Having an app would make things easier. It's unfortunate that the only tablet with 3G access right now is still the iPad 2 for $625.
At the very least, Ancestry could develop a mobile friendly version!!
