The more I learn the harder it is to make a decision of organization.

@Bryan brings up a good point about fitting it all on DVD, just in case I want to share the existing data files. Plus my original files can be high resolution. It would be nice to have FTM reduce the resolution when importing it into the media file, and link to the original in case any changes are made.

Experimenting, I renamed the FTM media folder to see what happens. I wanted to try and start fresh, by adding each photo or file with updated naming conventions, and categories.

The previous thumbnails are still present, and when I click on it, the link errors "file not found". I could unlink each and every file for a new start, but that is a pain.

It would be nice if the software allowed drag and drop features into the media area. Then the file description screen could pop up and prompt you for the attachment, category, description etc.
