I don't know exactly what you mean by cell.
Are your referring to errors found in FTM? ie wrong stuff in elements (date, place, description) of a fact?
If so, I would think there are two ways. One is the "manage facts" section of FTM - the other is a custom report for a Fact you believe to be a problem is either "not blank" or has a specific text string that you can isolate.
To do a custom report:
Go to Personal reports > custom reports.
Click on the upper left button and get the fields you want setup. Note the ability to sort (FTM2011) buttons, get rid of the note checks, note the fact option button - which say whether to get date and/or place and/or description. Click ok. Also, you'll probably want to include the fact you are searching for "also known as", plus at least a name, maybe a birth date.
That should take you back to the custom report screen. Select under Individuals to Include > Selected individuals > Individuals to include button. Select "Filter In".
Top row: All Facts
Second row: Also known as
Third row: Any data
Then, next selection criteria to the right: Exists
There's all your records that have anything in any field of "also known as".
Save this report if you will be coming back to it. There is a "Save this Report" button on the button bar. It can be accessed later under "Saved Reports".
If you have errors where the fix is in the form of:
1) Data for address is in "also known as" and you want to transfer 20 of those instance from also-known-as to address, or
2) moving data from the place field to the description field,
you can do that automatically at the Edit > Manage Facts > Select a Fact > backup yes or no > Data options:
a) Transfer contents of those facts to another fact type.
b) Swap place for description or vice versa
Does that help?
