jdabem,

Do you currently have Family Tree Maker on the Old PC?

Will you be installing FTM on the New one?

If so, you do NOT want to convert the file to a GEDCOM file, as any images that you might have will be gone.

Install Family Tree Maker on the New Computer, then do a File, Restore on the New PC using that Back Up file from the old one.
