Normal for Source Information to be Truncated

Classification: Query
I always hear people at my family history center to be so upset with finding info on trees on Ancestry and not have them sourced properly. They think Ancestry users are lazy, but I have always argued it was the FTM to Ancestry connection that caused the problem.

With the sync in 2012 version, I thought this would go away, but as I was diligently going through and documenting my tree in FTM and synching with Ancestry all of my sources are truncated.

So where the title should be "Kentucky Probate Records 1750-1907" it simply says "Kentucky" in Ancestry.

And it isn't filling in the right info on source detail:

Title
Evans

Author

Publisher

Publisher Location

Publisher Date

Call Number
975.501 L97EVC

Notes
Evans, June Banks. Long ago in Lunenburg on Stony Creek of the Meherrin. New Orleans, LA: Bryn Ffyliaid Publication, 1993.

You can see in the notes, author, title, publication place, publisher, publication date, which was all filled out individually, they all got lumped into notes, except for the Call number.

Is this normal?
