I received a survey email this morning, asking for an evaluation of the service level. I was polite but basically asked how I could be expected to evaluate since 2 weeks had passed and nothing had been done!
So, a few minutes ago, I received a response from the original Tech person J******:
"Thank you for contacting Family Tree Maker.
We understand that you have been unable to open Family Tree Maker after installing the latest update. Our developers have taken a look at the event log that you sent us and determined the cause. The update did not install properly.
In order to correct this you will need to uninstall the program and reinstall the update. If the update still does not install properly you may need to manually install it using the instructions in the link below:
