I had FTM 2 for Mac back in February, I have had numerous problems over the last few months and have contacted email support a many occasions and have had my questions answered. BUT, the latest fault is that my tree "unlinked" itself! I had added a few people to my Ancestry tree, but I linked my FTM tree to Ancestry, resulting in 2 trees, I deleted one, but it was the wrong one and had to repeat the linking again, which took over 2 hours!
At the moment, the trees are linked, but, the sync is not working a message of please try later appears!
I get very frustrated with this software! I have not got a large tree (1700 approx names) I have managed to sort the straight line of the family and now able to produce reports, which is what I intended to produce with the software, but they rely on the information from Ancestry, although you can add things via the FTM, it does not always transfer the information to Ancestry.
A few weeks ago the sync was great, I had downloaded the latest update and all went well.
