Hmmm. I was looking at the DECSENDANT Genealogy Report. I looked again and find the Descendant and Ahnentafel Genealogy Reports differ in this respect. I'm not sure why.

Unchecking that box DOES REMOVE the offending text in the Descendant Genealogy Report, but not in the Ahnentafel Genealogy Report.
