No, Marco, I am not wrong. See the little "bullets" next to each fact - ie the current preferred fact on the left and the incoming fact on the right? If you want the "Norway" without a birthdate to remain the preferred one, you click on that little "bullet". You can then choose to make the incoming the merged fact (if source kept), discarded fact (if source not kept) or alternative.

You have three choices for each side, depending on which "bullet" is selected to be preferred.

You choose which side is "preferred" and then you have three options on the other side: merged (sources kept), discarded (sources not kept) or alternative.
