I installed Family Tree Maker 2006 and had no problem with it for years. Suddenly I started receiving a message that I
could not accomplish certain tasks because I was running Family Tree Maker Starter Edition. I would like to know, if I can uninstall this Starter Edition (it contains all of my
family history over 5,000 names) and then reinstall my original Family Tree Maker 2006 disk? I am running Windows XP. I do not want to loose all of my information but I want my original version back. No one seems to be able to tell me how the Starter Edition was installed - I did not install it. Thanks for any assistance - I am so frustrated
