On 8/11 I reported this problem to the FTM support center via e-mail. On 8/14 received reply that "We are currently addressing the issue you are experiencing with the search result detail pane not updating, and this will be corrected in the near future." On 8/18 received a member services inquiry satisfaction survey. Needless to say, not very satisfied. Threatened to drop subscription until fixed. As of 8/19 problem still with us.
On big software systems like Ancestry uses, there usually is a regular revision schedule so probably we won't see a fix until the next scheduled update (assuming the fix is available then). No idea what their schedule is.
