I've used the FTM 2012 pretty heavily in the past couple of weeks without any unusual problems. It sounds like you're using features I don't normally use, and your problems are different than the specific one discussed earlier in this thread.

I suggest you focus on one of the things that's causing you the worst problems and submit a bug report thru the Online Help Center (under the Help menu in FTM).
