Having similar issues. I have 3061 people in my tree and i have successfully synched before. I am currently waiting on a synch to complete (the portion that says importing FTM changes into your ancestry tree). This has been here for at least 15 minutes! Cancel button does not work. Hoping that someone on the QA team at FTM can research this! Anyone out there? Will be glad to have a WebEx session to duplicate this problem for the ancestry.com team. Please call me - look up my contact info via my ancestry account. Want this fixed! Love the feature - but if a synch takes 15 minutes when only around 10 records were changed, something is MAJORLY wrong here.
