MikePH1 is spot on here. It's about understanding the question - I think ancestry is short of a method of uploading a single group photo - it may have 20 people in it for example - and then being able to select/crop/tag whatever you want to call it, a small part of that one photo to use for each individual's picture.
It's not rocket science as they say, and no it does not need a full image processor. just some intelligence in the site that stops me having to upload the same photo 20 times for one group shot after I've selected the bit that it "Uncle Bob" !
