In FTM 2012, I want to file a fact relating to Land Tax records. There isn't a specific fact type in FTM 2012 for that, though, and I have currently got it under the person notes. But that isn't terribly satisfactory because I can't link to sources from there.

Am I OK to create my own fact types, or is there a standard type that everyone uses for this type of record?
