And so I join the queue of disgruntled users of this FTM 2012 program.
I, like many others, suffer from the same sort of problem and get no worthwhile support via emails to "customer support". (That term customer support is used very loosely.)With so many unemployed in the US, why can't Ancestry find a few programmers and fix this whole program.
I have read all the other posts and there seems to be any number of "solutions" but they seem to be generic to each individuals computer & methods of trying to solve the problem. Most popular seems to be to unlink and restart with a new tree, but does this always import all the data and media.
Has anyone tried saving the backup file and uninstalling the program completely then reinstalling the program anew??
I have just spent $100 having my laptop "cleaned" by a computer analyst and that made no difference to the sync.
