I just downloaded the update this morning after seeing these post. My initial impression is that while still taking nearly 90 seconds to load, the time required to open the book that I have been using as a standard since I update to 2012 has been improved considerable. I installed 2012 when it was first release. At that time this book took over five minutes to load. After several updates the got it down to about a minute and a half. I just tried the same book and it loaded in about 30 seconds. A significant improvement.

Windows XP dual core processor about 1.7 mh. 1 gb RAM.
