Chart like ATM

I seem to be having problems with charts and reports, now that I am getting into them, and I think it's more a matter of knowing the software.

What I'd like is a chart similar to the one I get when I hit the 'Family' side of the chart on Ancestry, but i'd like to be able to set the number of generations showing.

Or, alternatively, be able to set a group of people and have the chart show the relationships of just that group.

Ideally, I want my grandfather's ancestors along with their siblings but no spouses or children of siblings. Does that make sense?

I've tried several ways in FTM2012, including pedigree, hourglass and extended family but none are quite there. If I could limit the people showing in the extended family I think that would be the closest.

Any ideas. Lori
