"Now I'll have to start a new post on FTM basic program or the deluxe with the extra CDs. :-) "

When looking to buy FTM, remember that what ever the package is called the FTM program is the same in all of them. It is my understanding there are NO plugins for FTM, so any other programs that are included in the package will be a stand alone program.

In my experience the difference between the packages are the fluff programs. The main difference is the free Ancestry Subscription that will add your current subscription. If the free subscription is long enough the free subscription pays for the package.

Personally I have never used the fluff programs, and consider them a waste of money.
