Yes, I upgraded from FTM16 to FTM2012 and it worked easily with no errors. I backed up all my FTM16 files so absolutely nothing could happen to them. I installed FTM2012 and opened the FTM16 files from within the new version. It did all the work and set me up to use my data in the new invironment. I think FTM2012 is the best version so far. I like the modern feel and I fly through things after using it for a while.
