No, your wife's laptop will need to access the ancestry.com database through a browser. The ancestry.com database can only sync to one computer.

There is a way to sync your FTM file on your computer with another computer via Dropbox. I've not tried it, but folks have posted here that they can do it.

You might do a search for dropbox and see if you can find some messages that explain.
