I finally worked up the courage to sync my new laptop to my tree on Ancestry and it appears that everything worked properly. I had done all of the work on Ancestry and downloaded the entire tree to my new laptop with a new clean version of FTM2012.

Now the question is can I load FTM 2012 onto my wife's laptop and sync it to Ancestry? Will the program function between two computers and Ancestry? Thanks
