"I am confused, my version is 220.127.116.118 when I click on update it tells me I do not have administrator rights to do this.
I am the sole user of this computer I am the administrator so why will it not let me do this? I have gone into the properties and tried to make it know that I am administrator but can not fathom out what to do. Help please people, should I uninstall and reinstall the program ?"
No you don't reinstall, simply right click on the FTM icon on your desktop and run as an administrator.
Please look at Microsoft Help and check out Administrator rights. It is a standard Windows security feature and has absolutely nothing about who owns or uses the computer.
Type "administrator rights" into Google and learn about it as is a fundamental step in using a Windows computer
