And the big plus of the Extended Family Tree (EFT) over the all-in-one tree in FTM 16 and earlier is that the EFT preserves generational integrity so all similar generations are on the same row.

The all-in one-tree was all over the place especially if you used it in its so called compact mode which scrambled the birth order!!!

The other nice thing about the EFT is that it has a people finder which works very well. People finder is in all the other charts, but you can really use it in the EFT

Finally with the EFT (and the other charts) you have the marked box feature which lets you work right down to each box (or group of boxes if you wish).
