I'm glad that those using Windows 7 were able to find a "band aid" to temporarily resolve the issue, but find it ridiculous anyone would have to revert back to an older version of anything to make FTM work.
I couldn't agree more with Andy - "a solution should have been available in hours, not days."
Most of us with Windows 8 are still without a functioning FTM web merge, with no options. It has been well over 72 hours. The FTM developers should have put in overtime over the weekend to fix this!!
On a side note, regardless of what is causing this issue, I'm betting things would work much more seamlessly if FTM didn't work in conjunction with IE. Firefox or Chrome would be a much better option!
