As a recommendation from one who has had to go back and change a lot of references I would not put URL links in my References ie Citation sources etc.

In five years most will be dead links.

When I want to reference material I find on the web I will put the name of the organization that owns the web site.

Example if I find a marriage record on Family Search. The information going into the reference would be Ohio Marriages 1900-2000 as found on Family Search.

If on a county genealogy website,
The reference would be Allen County Genealogy Society with a description of where the record was found on the site. ie Allen County marriages 1900-2000.

THe logic being that after the link to Ohio Marriages 1900-2000 has been changed a dozen times, I can contact the organization and ask where that particular data may be found.
