Much older databases can handle larger datasets without memory issues.

FTM has issues with consuming all of the available memory, maybe done to speed the program up and it caches images, etc. If I select the Media tab and scroll through the images, one can see more and more memory being consumed.

Remember, that version 2008 was dead slow. Version 2009 "fixed" that issue.
