I agree that the cost benefit is not there. Relatively speaking it is a very inexpensive program even if you account for the constant upgrades. Therefore, if anyone from Ancestry is reading and considering that there is a small group who would benefit (but I can only speak for myself) I would be willing to pay considerably more for an advanced version of FTM on two conditions:
1. most if not all the known problems are solved
2. there is a dedicated group of help available that do not mindlessly repeat canned responses to every problem.
Is this even within the realm of possibilities?
