Thought I'd found a fix. Uninstalled FTM - deleted all files - re-installed and downloaded & imported the Gedcom file from Ancestry. Seemed to be working fine but when I opened the prog next morning it just refused to connect to the internet. Now I have decided to use it 'offline' until a proper fix is released. Will do all research on the ancestry site and just keep downloading and importing the Gedcom when I need to update the tree on my computer. WHAT A PAIN!!!!!!! COME ON - GET IT SORTED QUICK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
