Privatize or not upload all media files contained in FTMM2 to one's Ancestry Tree

Hello,
I would like to keep more photos in my FTMM2 data file resident on my laptop and not upload all of them to my linked family tree. There are ways to privatize or lock certain facts/notes, etc. to prevent them from being uploaded. Is there something similar to lock or prevent all photos from being uploaded? If so, could someone please explain. If not, is there a good work around?

Thanks!
