Hi,
I have used many genealogy programs, PAF, FTM for Windows (years ago), Rootsmagic, Reunion when I switched to Mac, and now FTMM2 for Mac. I had difficulty importing from Reunion to FTMM2 and many individuals did not transfer. I did want all of the features FTMM2 provides though, including easy sourcing and attaching sources to records as well as easy posting of trees. Despite the fact that I have over 1300 individuals amassed and 20 years of research, I decided that I would maintain my Reunion data base, but begin to re-enter my Reunion data into FTMM2. In the main, FTMM2 is working for me and I have been following Russ Worthington's advice. Knock on wood I am going to keep using FTMM2 but save my Reunion database in case FTMM2 malfunctions down the road.
