Just wanted to add another voice to the constant crashing of Family Tree Maker 2 for mac.

Currently using:
MBP 2012 Retina, 16gb, i7
Mountain Lion 10.8.2
All latest updates as of Feb24 for MB & FTM. No other apps running.
380 persons on tree.

Have tried:
Compacting File (which also causes crashes) to 0.00%.
Restarting Computer.
Disk Repairs.
Reinstallation of app.

Crashes occur:
During compacting.
During shutdown.
Most often during PDF export of tree.
