Yes.

I think I will leave it Private, as it is now. But does the fact that the complete FTMMac tree is synced to ACOM, so that authorized friends can see it, mean the private data is still at risk, or does ACOM manage to keep Private tree data "private" except to those I authorize?

I will consider posting a stripped down tree, but it seems like it would be a major hassle to keep two trees updated, with only the stripped down one being synced. I don't think my tree has significant data that is unique to mine; I have gotten most off of ancestry trees and by contacting people.
