Was trying to think of some of the issues that could run into for the mac verison.
1. lets hope the conversion tool will convert FTM2011 files since the mac verison is based on FTM 2010. Dont know how they will handle any smart stories though.

2. The cost of the program will be alot higher then the windows one.

3. Look at the specs on Mac laptops. It would appear that you might want to invest in a portable harddrive for your data too.

Possible benefits would be a possible good mac verison family tree. Maybe run faster and smoother then Windows. Maybe more portable with itouch or ipad.
