Hey - THERE'S an idea!

Maybe just open the GEDCOM with Notepad and paste it. Someone who wanted it could copy it back into notepad, save it as whatever.txt, rename it whatever.ged and go to town. They might have to adjust their browser's text size to 6 points or so to make sure the last 8-12 characters of the 80 didn't wrap to the next line.
