Citing your Sources????

Is there anything out there in the way of genealogy software that has a souce template will allow one to cite one's source in a way similar to the standard NGS endnote format. Most seem set up to do a book format... not the wide variety formats necessary for court records, diary entries, original documents, letters, etc.
I'm also looking for something that will allow me to give more than one source per event.
For example, often birth, death, or marriage information from one source is incomplete... it may give the year, but not the place or date. Another source may provide the place and date. Together both sources bolster each other & both should be used as a preponderance of evidence in the same end or footnote.
So far, I've only found programs that permit one citation on the personal information sheet. If I want to add anything else, I'm forced to place it under "additional notes," but then it doesn't always show up when I print out a list of sources... or on group sheets, it does not appear linked with the event, which leads to more notes.
