Roland, and all:
Check out
Clooz (clooz.com) and
Bygones (http://home.rica.net/bygones/)
Both keep keep notes and source citations. Clooz in personalized to the programmer. I found it unbearable uncomfortable to use.
Bygones in designed to be used by a very wide spectrum of fileing systems and research styles. It is very clumsy to learn. It's all black and white, navigation is sometimes by buttons, and sometimes by drop downs. But, you can get your data out easily. It will search within a field, so go wild on your keying in of information. If you have used Access or other db, you will understand it.
Now, Would you be willing to share a list of your Access file structure? I am designing my own research tracking program. So I would appreciate the suggestions.
