No version of FTM has the capability to create a shareable CD. At the moment, RootsMagic is the only software that has that capability. The newest version even has a "RootsMagic To Go" function where you can put the entire program and you data on a thumb-drive to take with you to use on another computer (i.e. a library).
Also, non-English characters can be used in RootsMagic via the Character Map.
