FYI....The media files were embedded in FTM until FTM 2008. Now, they are like Legacy in that they are linked (pointed to) to the media. Although the media management concepts of FTM 2008 are arguably more advanced than Legacy, the overall program is a decline in functionality and quality from previous FTM versions. That is why I switched from FTM to Legacy.
