I use Legacy too and found the easiest way is to view the census record on ancestry and click the printer friendly option on the left then copy/paste into each persons source record for the census.
I ended up up-loading my latest Legacy file and starting from scratch on ancestry as they were adding more source records. I'm still trying to 'catch-up' on adding sources and records to people on ancestry and legacy and I find both very convoluted and time consuming - I await Legacy 7 with great anticpation and hope they have Ancestry integration.
