I quess I'll have to try it.
In MS-Word (by example) for TMG to work like I would expenct it must insert an XE tag to create an index, so if I want all names for an individual to be indexed each name would have to be noted with an XE tag. I would want the primary instance of the individual to have the name bold in the name index and any other instances of the name to be to be normal in the index.
Similar things happen with TOC, chapter headings and subheadings, where either tags or text types are used to generate various items in the TOC or end notes and foot notes.
