This is just a guess on my part, but I suspect that the problem will be more that just the fact that the printer is on an USB port (which DOS was not designed to support); I suspect that you'll also have DOS printer driver problems.
Can you save the output to a file and then open it in Wordpad to print? A bit cumbersome, but it might be workable.
